The Lukas LK-9750 Duo is the newest dash cam release from the European company Lukas.

Produced in early 2015, the Lukas LK-9750 Duo faces heavy competition for its critically acclaimed predecessors, and it seems like the newest dash cam off of the Lukas line is a worthy successor to them with brand new features, improved picture quality and more.

Pros

The biggest advantage that the LK-9750 Duo has over its predecessors is the fact that this dash cam has both front and rear cameras.

The rear camera is compact and easily installed, and it makes reversing simple and safer.

Video quality is incredibly high quality for both the front and rear-facing cameras with the rear camera having slightly lower quality due to its smaller design.

The parking mode records video for ten seconds when motion is detected and for an additional 20 seconds after the detection ends.

Both the rear and front cameras can record simultaneously, and there’s not much to worry about in regards to using up too much space as the camera holds a huge 512 GB maximum of data on two separate memory cards.

Finally, the camera is operational at temperatures as low as -4 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as 158 degrees.

Cons

The quality of the video decreases at night. While the night quality is still pretty decent for the front camera, the rear camera’s quality decreases significantly in the dark.

Unlike many other modern dash cams, this model does not feature wifi connectivity.

Overall

The Lukas LK-9750 Duo is a great, durable and very versatile dash cam that is well-suited to nearly any vehicle and climate.

While the video quality is not the best at night, it can still match up well with its competitors in both day and night, and the change in quality definitely doesn’t impact the final rating too much.
